The ST-J drives just like a Strat. You know how to make it sing. It balances beautifully, and tunes easier.
Two Lollar pickups and a DiMarzio Red Velvet in the neck position makes this thing very expressive.
Plenty of “cluck” and muscle when needed. It shiimmers with crystal clarity when you need that too.
The ebony fingerboard has some very dark red-brown stripes which might be stained black by the big manufacturers, but ebony is rarely jet-black. This fingerboard matches the red and brown hues in the body very nicely.
Sometimes I get to keep one of these, and this one will be hard to part with. Someone better snatch it up before I change my mind. ~ Rossco Wright
